Mentor Walks brings together executive women and emerging female leaders to connect, support and learn from one another. Mentors and mentees are invited to take a one hour walk and talk through their personal or professional successes, challenges, and aspirations.
This is a group session. Each mentee is asked to submit a question that they’d like to discuss prior to the event. We use this to group you with a mentor and 1-2 other mentees. When you arrive you’ll find out who your mentor is. Before the walk begins, we’ll explain how the event works, introduce all the mentors and then you’ll find your group. From there you walk and talk for an hour. Mentors facilitate the conversation, and make sure everyone gets a chance to discuss their issue.
Mentor Walks is for women who are on the cusp of making a difference, and who are passionate and ready to make their mark.. It’s a program perfect for time-poor professional women, middle managers, executives, and entrepreneurs.

To join a Mentor Walks event select your city from the “join us” dropdown menu above and fill in the application form. You will then be able to purchase your ticket to your local walk immediately.
You do not need to re-apply for each walk. Once you’re in, you’re part of the Mentor Walks family. Approved mentees can use this link to book their next walk.
Walks are $25 per event, which contributes to the running of Mentor Walks. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate ‘walk ups’ on the day of the event.
Yes, we encourage it! Many of our walks sell out particularly in the summer months so booking in advance is advisable.
Our events are held outdoors, rain or shine. Be prepared to embrace Mother Nature, bring an umbrella, hat, water and wear your comfortable walking shoes.
Mentors and mentees will be grouped together by our team at Mentor Walks. You will find out who you have been grouped with at the start of each event.
Yes of course, but they do need to book a ticket. Its best to advise us too if you are coming with a friend so we do not pair you together in a group. Mentor Walks is a safe place to open up about your challenges and we feel its a better experience with people you do not know personally.
Our events are a one-off dialogue. Our mentors have no obligation to provide continued support after the event. However, mentees are welcome to continue to join our walks in the future.
If for some reason your plans change, that’s fine. We understand that things happen. Just give us more than 48 hours notice and we’ll transfer your ticket to a future walk. Please let us know in writing.
If you give us less than 48-hours notice, you forfeit your ticket. And if you don’t let us know at all, unfortunately you won’t be invited back. Walks are carefully curated, and if we don’t have time to plan properly it impacts the other people in your group.
Wear something comfortable. Work attire and runners, or activewear, is totally fine. If the weather is hot, make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
You certainly can. In fact, we encourage it! Once approved, mentees can attend as many times as they want. Coming to multiple walks is the best way to keep you focused and accountable, and to ensure your career goals are on track.
Mentors are invited to join strictly via referrals from mentors who are already part of our community. You will need an introduction via one of our mentors to join our community.
Please note our walks are not a time for soliciting your own business.
